To load families that are stored in ProjectWise, you need to click the Load Family button directly in Revit, rather than wait for Revit to prompt you to load families. If Revit prompts you (and you accept) to load families, the dialog that opens will not be integrated with ProjectWise and will only let you load families from the file system.
